DescriptionRed-orange carnelian. Intaglio. Convex back and flat front with inward front bezel. Male bust in profile to the right, wearing a Corinthian helmet adorned with a laurel garland. A garment, probably a mantle or cloak, covers his shoulders. There is a chip in the top edge and backside of the gem.
