Intaglio. Convex front, flat back, with inward back bezel. Portrait bust of Constantius II facing left. He wears a diadem of a double row of pearls or beads. His hair is brushed forward under the diadem, creating a fringe of hair along the hairline; hair neatly gathered at the nape of the neck. He has a large eye with deep lower and upper lids, and a long, slightly pointed chin. He wears a robe under a cloak, fastened at his shoulder with a round pin.
