Deep red carnelian. Intaglio. Flat back with inward back bezel and slightly convex front with slight inward front bezel. Luna stands on her toes facing right; her head is in profile, her torso is frontal, and her lower body is in there-quarter perspective. She wears a long tunic (chiton) that flutters around her calves and has a long overfold. A diadem with crescent moon encircles her head and her hair is pulled back into a bun. Her mantle billows over her head like a sail; she grasps it with her raised right hand while holding a torch in her lowered left hand. The ends of the mantle are slung over her lower arms. Stars are placed in the field next to both arms and her right foot.
