Intaglio. Double convex. Narcissus standing frontal, leans on an altar with his left hand and holds a garment in his left. An Eros stands with legs apart atop the altar. At left, a tree winds up the side of the gem. At right, in front of the altar, a pair of spears lean against an unseen wall or support. In the background, over Narcissus’ left shoulder, a column with a small statue, possibly of Artemis.
