Red carnelian. Intaglio. Slightly convex front; flat back, with rounded inward bezel. A helmeted female figure, Roma, dressed in a short tunic, and with mantle slung over her upraised arm, stands in three-quarter view with head in profile to the right. The helmet has a long crest and the mantle hangs down the back of the figure. The outstretched left hand supports a figure of Victoria (Victory) while the right hand is raised to grasp a spear resting on the ground. A shield lies before her feet. Her face is rendered by three horizontal lines. There is a ground line.
