Dark blue. Intaglio. Convex front, flat back with inward back bezel. At left, a woman in profile facing right, supports a wounded man. She holds him around the torso, her hands clasped under his arms and around his torso. She has an archaizing hairstyle, and wears a long dress and a mantle. Her wounded charge is nude, and his right arm falls listlessly to the side and his head has rolled back. The bottom half of the gem has been broken off.
