This ovoid jar is fashioned of a buff-colored marl clay. It has slender proportions, a rounded base, slightly outwardly flaring neck, and a rolled rim.

Provenance

From Kerma, Cemetery N, grave 153. 1916: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
