DescriptionPainted vellum leaf, primarily in blue and pink tones. Obverse: royal lady with attendants before summer house; floral borders and gilt details. Reverse: man offering woman flowers, simple pastoral setting; purple and green floral borders. Carved ivory sticks form pagoda when closed, chinoiserie motifs with figures on guards above shoulders, mother-of-pearl backing on guards. Diamond paste studs in rivet.
