Pair of boy’s knee length breeches of heavy white cotton, three self-covered buttons at each knee openging, two self-covered buttons at center front of waist band, (one missing), waist band laced at center back, (lace missing), front flap buttoned to waist band with self-covered buttons; a few small brownish stains; in ink on back of waist band: these breeches were worn in 1758 by my G. Grandfather C. Tuill, by my Grandfather William Babcock, 1786, my Father William Babcock, 1872 and all of their children.
