Ecclesiastical Costume. Epinanika (Dalmatic Cuffs). The Annunciation. A medallion, bordered by a small repeating flower surrounded by various raised blossoms on leafy stems, bearing on (a) Gabriel and on (b) Mary. Metal wires, strips and coils plus polychrome silk for faces and hands, worked in split stitch, on a red silk ground. Worn in some areas. One attachment ring missing from (a).
