Cuffs from a woman’s shirt. Plain cotton ground entirely embroidered over with dark polychrome silk yarns. Design: a pair of large lozenge compartments containing, and surrounded by, stylized simple geometric tree (?) motifs. At the bottom of each is a roughly hemispherical area of dense metallic yarn embroidery with tulip motifs. “A” is a flat piece, “B” is joined on the edges forming a tube. Worn yarns; repairs.
