Each earring is comprised of a loosely defined, broad-petaled flower with pollen indicated at the center. Two, small, square ebony elements descend from the flower. Gold links connect the whole, and small, irregular pieces of gold dangle from the links and on the ebony.
On back of each earring, stamped incuse "Janiyé," "24K," "18K."
Acquired from the artist by the donor's mother, Irma Sims Rubenstein, between 1965 and 1975
