This is a finely-grained palette with a slightly elongated, rhomboidal shape. The surface is flat, and the ends are squared off. There are a few small remnants of green pigment. The stone is pinkish-white quartzite or travertine (Egyptian alabaster).

Provenance

From Metadul (ASN 50/42) 1908. Excavated by the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
