This is a finely-grained, oval-shaped palette with one end broken off and worn. The surfaces are weathered. The stone is red quartzite (?).

Provenance

From Dakka (ASN101/555/R). 1910. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
