DescriptionMade of four full loom widths, sewn together. Brilliant golden yellow silk damask with very large-scale symmetrical design showing great urns of acanthus leaves on simple pedestals alternating with other large decorative leaves enclosed within ogival compartments formed by two undulating rose vines. Selvedges show at two sides and on back. Condition very good. One small stain near bottom.
