The design, a saint with a palm or stick and beard, standing in a niche, with a round arch, is couched with blue, white, brown, green and yellow silk, black and red wool, and silver thread, made by winding linen thread with silvered-gold beaters’ skin. The gold thread which was made with metal was probably added later. The figure is applied.
