DescriptionDecorative panel from one leg of a Zoroastrian woman's bridal shalvar (trousers). Consists of strips of red, green, blue, yellow and black cotton plain weave pieced together to form stripes, the whole backed with coarse cotton plain weave. The stripes are embroidered with cotton in a pattern of rosettes and fish.
