History of Belisarius printed iin cherry red, copperplate or roller. Six scenes against all-over background of draped banners and spear points: “Villageois allant au Devant de Belisaire,” “Belisaire Recevant l’Aumone,” “Rencontre de Belisaire et de Celimer (?),” “Un Chef de Bulgares Delivrant l’Empereur et Tibere a la Priere de Belisaire,” uncaptioned scene showing Belisarius and child with bound ankles, “Belisaire Presentant sa Fille à l’Empereur.” Cotton browned; several small holes and tears; pieced upper right corner. Selvedge along right side.
