Weft: orange cotton. Weft: white silk in sets of 3, binding the orange cotton weft in pairs and the middle warp binding the gold lamé which rides on every second weft. Panel probably used for furnishing fabric. Design in the style of “Genoa velvet.” Point composition of flowers in purple, rose, and light blue and green leaves, in cut and uncut silk velvet (jaspé effect) against a voided ground of light orange cotton and gold lamé. Condition: excellent.
