DescriptionThe low oval vessel, raised from sheet, has a broad spout drawn out on one side. There are several small dents on the lower edge.
Marks Just below the rim at the back, leopard's head crowned; date letter N (1728-9); lion passant; maker's mark EC (Grimwade 546); (struck twice).
InscriptionsEngraved onunderside, "HS / 1770".
