DescriptionOne and one-half widths, seamed; pieced lower right corner. Engraved design copperplate printed in faded cherry red on natural ground. "Les Quatres Elémetns" pattern sows fire, air, water and earth (Bacchus in cart) deities within rectangular compartments framed by bars decorated with flowers, garlands, chains and trophies. Cotton browned, stained; many small holes, some darned.
