DescriptionThe ground is of white cotton. On one end is worked with dull red silk, a border of diamonds and leaf-like forms set close together. Above this are conventional trees; the sides and ends are buttonholed. The embroidery is done with a stitch very similar to that used in the Italian punto tirato.
