Inscription

Engraved in center in cipher, EL with an earl's coronet above; engraved on underside, "Ex . Dono" with a cipher beneath.
On rim, "1719/ 12oz/ 15d".

On underside, maker's mark CD (Jackson, 1989, p. 545); castle; assay master mark EP for Edward Penman; date letter O
