The handwrought pendant in this modernist necklace is asymmetric and has ovoid geometric piercings in two bifurcating, coral-like branches. In the center are four, irregularly shaped tubes soldered onto an oxidized backplate. Below is a pendant drop in the form of a round, bezel-set, carbochon turquoise with veining. Also, related artist sketch from 1954.
