Made in Japan, 1908-1910, in the occidental mode. A long petticoat, made to go with wedding dress, 53.84 a, b, of white silk crepe, with deep flounce at bottom, finished with pointed scallops and embroidered with heavy white silk thread in stylized small blossom motives, at top of flounce a band of machine made lace insertion over white satin ribbon, flounce of similar lace around bottom edge of petticoat, elastic in waistband (no longer elastic).
