DescriptionHooked sisal and cotton pictorial mat with artic sailing vessels at sunset, the elongated rectangular mat composed of dyed sisal twine and cotton strips hooked onto a burlap backing, depicting six sailing vessels with ice floes, and the sun setting on the horizon, worked in shades of brown, off-white, blue, black, and green, and thin black borders, with a woven marker's label affixed to the reverse. Labeled: "Grenfell Labrador Industries, Newfoundland and Labrador"
