Light blue silk ground in compound weave. Brocaded in polychrome silks, silver wire wound on a silk core and frise silver yarn. Buildings and ruins surrounded by trees and flowers. Scene of the interior of a room with furniture and a Chinese figure smoking a long pipe. Composed of several pieces, some with black selvedge of twelve cords. Strip of cotton tabby cloth on back. Worn.
