DescriptionA large piece of brocade (made up of scraps) with white ground and large-scale design, brocaded wtih green, red, pink, yellow, and purple silks, of curling leaves, bearing roses and morning glories arranged in alternating colors.
ProvenanceSaid to have been the wedding dress of Dr. Briggs' grandmother, Abagail Cushing, wife of Dr. Cushing Otis and daughter of Judge Nathan Cushing.
