The ground is woven with pink silk and silver wire. The design of seed vessels and flower-like forms in profile arranged like fleur-de-lis, is woven with blue, pink and white silk and light golden brown silk sparsely wound with silver gilt. The background is much faded. Similar to 96.617 (T.3533).

97.485 - 97.596 were acquired by the donor by exchange with the Pratt Institute of Brooklyn, N.Y.,From the Collection bought by them of Salvadore & Son of Florence, Italy, in 1897
