DescriptionDeep reddish violet silk ground on which is a design of conventional leaves arranged to suggest a diamond and enclosing a symmetrical conventional plant form. The design is woven with gold and silver thread made by winding white and yellow thread with narrow strips of silver and silver gilt. Much worn.
