DescriptionGround white silk, with a large design of an ogival frame-work enclosing a symmetrical and conventional bunch of flowers, woven with red silk. A is pieced; both much worn. Same type of design as 91.178, 93.327 a and b, 93.486, 93.473 a and b, 93.578, 85.331, and 93.56. A similar piece is catalogued in the Musées Royaux des Art Décoratifs de Bruxelles, as Spanish work (?) of the 17th century, and at the Bibliothèque des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, as 16th century.
