DescriptionMade in convent in Mexico City, sent to Rebecca Virginia Moorhead in New York. Point, drawn-work. Cover made of three pieces of a child's petticoat. Plain white linen ground, decorated with three strips of drawnwork, each showing one wide band and three narrow bands of ornament. Wide band shows small, all-over lozenge pattern rendered with fine wrapping stitches. Narrow, scalloped crocheted lace border on three sides. Small patch near one end.
