Square mat with curved corners. Cotton yarns. Very fine punto avorio, main field shows a rose spray in central square, surrounded by a wreath of wheat stalks. Wide border of macramé lace edged with tassels. Two small holes and several brown stains near center. One corner torn; a few tassels missing. Made in convent in Mexico City, sent to Rebecca Virginia Moorhead in New York.
