DescriptionGlobular vessel with hint of a shoulder, sitting on a thin amethyst base. The surface is treated with acid to give a matte appearance. The decoration consists of varying size ovals, which have been wheel-carved into the body and act as windows. In addition, irregular ovals in opaque smoke color have been applied randomly around the body. Incised in script Schneider on the side of the base.
Signed Schneider in script on side of foot (wheel-cut)
