Obverse: Profile bust of Pius IX looking to proper right; inscribed at edge “PIVS·IX·PONT·MAX·AN·XXV·” and under bust “I·BIANCHI·S·”.

Reverse: Symmetical building complex, inscribed on each flanking tower (too small to read); inscribed below “VESPIGNANI·A·” and in exergue “COEMETERIVM·VRB·AD·AGR·VERANVM/INSIGNI·IN·FRONTEM·EXSTRVCTIONE/A·CHR·MDCCCLXX·/I·BIANCH·S·”.

Inscription
