Hanging plaque. Raised floral border with a scene in reserve on each side; shell finial for hanging; center scene of chinoiserie figures at table, sitting. Ochres, blues, green and manganese. Large area of restoration and overpaint in LR corner. Unmarked.

December 1968, sold at auction, Mak van Waay, Amsteredam; purchased by Kunstzalen A. Vecht, Amsterdam (dealer); December 15, 1969, purchased by MFA with funds provided by R. Thornton Wilson.
