DescriptionAlso see 65.1820-39. Circular plate with recessed center, sloping border, and undulating rim. Border deocrated with blue ground with circles of gilt dots and irregularly shaped white circles outlined in gold and painted with red dots. Three elliptical reserves of the border painted with polychrome mixed flowers and sprays of mixed flowers decorate center of plate.
Marks interlaced Ls enclosing date letter X, painter's mark of P7 for Jean-Jacques Pierre jeune (active at Sevres 1763-4800) below, gilder's mark of a scrolling B for Jean-Pierre Boulanger pere (active at Sevres 1754-85) below, all in black enamel, incised xh++. Date letter obliterated and painter's mark illegible
