The reverse of this deep plate is undecorated, while the face is painted in two registers separated by a double, circumferential black line. The rim is decorated in a simplified version of the rock and wave design in black and blue. The cavetto and well of the plate show a roughly symmetrical bouquet of roses and tulips with leaves, springing from a leafy tuft and colored in raised red, blue and turquoise.
