Soft-paste porcelain with polychrome decoration and gilding. Marks: crowned crossed batons with six dots and script ‘D’ in red enamel, incised ‘14’. Oval platter. The rim decorated with a wide band on yellow, a thin band of gold leaves on black and gilt edging. Yellow border contains masks, bulls’ heads and other devices in black with gold detailing. Oval medallion in center with yellow ground edged with black and gold leaf band containing an Egyptian man battling a creature flanked by two Egyptian bird heads. Set with 56.1232-56.1245 and 67.1234-67.1248.
