Rectangular envelope style pocketbook or letter case. Tapestry-woven; brown hair ground, pattern in silver and gold metallic thread and red and green silk. Front shows a basket of flowers; flap shows heart with double cypher. Reverse shows armorial shield, supported by lions, surmounted by a marquis’ coronet, a mitre and crozier. Lined with salmon pink silk (slit and frayed); two stiffened silk leaves inside.
