Rectangular envelope style pocketbook. Silver metallic and polychrome silk threads in tapestry weave. Silver metallic ground. Front motif: two hunters and two boars flanking pear tree, insects, rabbit; on flap: woman with lamb and peacock; back: woman with basket and jog on head, woman with pitcher in garden, bird flying, buildings right. Gilt-galloon binding. Green silk lining and side panels. Woven silk/metallic loop for closure. Interior divided into two compartments. Cardboard foundation. Condition: worn and soiled.
