Rectangular envelope style pocketbook. Polychrome opaque and translucent glass beads strung with linen thread, held together by interlocking looping stitches (sablé). Design of primitive man (Hercules?) with club and quiver in wooded settings fighting animal (obv.); shooting bird with inscription TOVS LES TRAITS QVE IE PORTE BLESSENT above (rev.); country house (flap). Gilt-galloon binding. Green silk taffeta lining and side panels. Cardboard foundation.
