The design consists of a zig-zag band of reticella, with single squares in the intervening triangles and a straight band at the top and bottom. Some of the small squares have designs indicative of the transition to punto aria. The linen is embroidered with punto reale and punto riccio. A bobbin lace heading and finish on the bottom.
