Globular ovoid jar. It is made of faience with a green glaze. It has a long neck and rim that mimick the shape of a pomegranate. The surface is worn. It is complete.

Provenance

From Meroe, tomb W 609. Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition and assigned to the MFA by the Sudanese government.
