Man’s poncho. Alpaca; warp-faced plain weave. Fine contiguous stripes of complementary warp weave alternated with wide bands of dark blue warp-faced plain weave. A narrow accessory band of warp-faced double cloth is stitched around entire garment to form a border. A second, outermost band (very narrow) or warp-face plain weave with fringe formed by extensions of weft, is stitched around.
