DescriptionThe ladle has a long stem of twisted horn that has been repaired near the end with a silver ferrule. The fluted silver bowl, formed from raised sheet, has a shaped spout at one end and is joined to the stem by a scrolled bracket.
Marks On inside of bowl, date letter m; lion passant; maker's mark SM (Grimwade 2590); lion passant; leopard's head crowned.
