Quilted whole cloth bed cover of unglazed pale yellowish-tan wool with a now darker panel inserted at top center; shaped to fit around bedposts. Hand quilted with about 11 stitchs per inch. Backed with orange-tan wool plain weave. Ground quilted in narrow diagonal stripes and scrolling leaves and flowering vines springing from a cartouche at bottom center that form an approximately symmetrical pattern. Along edges, pyramidal unit formed of six overlapping scales is repeated at intervals.
