DescriptionCream-colored ribbed silk ground, brocaded with silks in shades of pink, lavender, blue, green and black, and with gold and silver frisé yarns, plain gold yarn and flat gold wire. Right-hand part of symmetrical pattern showing a formal bouquet on central axis, flanked by undulating stripes formed of gold leaves or feathers, shells, flowers and pearls. Wide pink selvedge at right. Brown stains. Ground shows wear and holes; silks worn; metals tarnished.
