Rectangular piece, full loom width. Left, a vignette, framed in pink, yellow and blue flowers, showing a garden setting in which are represented full-length portraits of Napoleon III, the Empress Eugénie and their son Eugène Louis Jean Joseph. Right, enclosed in a ring of flowers, the arms of Napoleon: on an armine ground, under an imperial crown, a golden eagle on blue shield; crossed golden scepters behind; below, badge of the Legion of Honor; the whole enclosed between curved laurel branches. Cotton browned. Condition good.
