Redware (P ware); tall, ovoid jar; flat base; rolled, everted rim; slipped and burnished, but nearly eroded surface. Rim damaged, but stable condition. Very unusual shape.
From Zawyet el-Aryan, Grave Z 126/1. Excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
